Not good enough for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lived here a year. It was fine. Nice to have roof space accessible. Great deli next door.
Cons:
Tiny rooms and living rooms. Kitchen was a corner. The worst issue was the management. They would come fast but they'd rarely get anything done. They'd say they fixed something but it was still broken afterward. Nice enough people but I don't really think they did a good job overall.

Very average experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Have always had someone come to fix things eventually.
Cons:
Hard to get someone qualified in, feels like the fixes are just bandaids. The weekend super is awful but if it falls on weekday landlord responsive.
Advice to owner:
Please get a new weekend super.

Best to pass....
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location and ok building.
Cons:
Building is poorly managed. My ceiling collapsed twice, my sinks filled up with mystery water multiple times. the repair men left mess or broke my personal stuff every time they entered the space. Greedy management with poor communication.
Advice to owner:
Take better care of your space and invest in your tenants

Downloaded the app JUST so I warn people about this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to the train
Cons:
Where do I begin?? The building is incredibly dirty. I asked them to clean it repeatedly for over a month, at which point I felt like I was breathing dust when I climb the stairs. Had to threaten to not pay for them to clean it up!! The rooms are moldy and after 2 months of back and forth, we had an NYC inspector came by to examine it. After which we threatened to sue if they didn’t fix it, and they fixed it 2 weeks later. This is a recurring issue where you reach out and they either ignore you or ARE COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT at fixing the issue. These are also some GREEDY landlords!! They wanted to INCREASE the rent in the middle of the pandemic after your lease was up. We used to pay $3200 for 3 rooms, 4 months after we left the apartment, it was listed for $2400!!
And the neighbors are if you can imagine EVEN WORSE!! Not the people in the building but the neighbors around it. They would congregate next to the apartment on Fridays and Saturdays during the summer and blast music SO LOUD that felt like you were in the middle of the club. SO MANY COMPLAINTS were made my me and other people in the building, yet nothing happened!! This happened week after week! I got to the point where I was anxious of the weekends because I would regularly not sleep until 4 AM In the morning because that’s when the crowd would finally dispersed.
AVOID THIS APARTMENT FOR YOUR OWN SANITY!!
