Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenants share mixed feelings about 392 St Johns Place. While the neighborhood and neighbors receive praise for their kindness and proximity to amenities, concerns over package theft, rat infestations, unresponsive management, and inadequate maintenance persist. Suggestions focus on improving security measures, cleanliness, and communication with residents. The general sentiment leans towards recommending the building due to the potential benefits of the location and unit sizes, but improvements in management responsiveness and building upkeep are essential for enhancing overall living conditions.

Home of Rat Burrows
Former Tenant
Pros:
The Very Few Longtime tenants who have remained here (since this was a beautiful building under the owner's in 1998). I can knock on their door and still ask to borrow sugar, yeah. 2 short blocks from Brooklyn Museum, Botanical Garden and Prospect Park, subways.
Cons:
One super for 5 buildings, 9-5 No elevator (4floors) No laundry room Dirty stairs and halls Packages are stolen, no security cameras Rats play on front grass Many, many rat burrows Additional rats are out after dark, before sunrise Super doesn't respond to texts or phone calls unless you email management afterwards
Advice to owner:
Hire a professional cleaning company to get started!
