Pros:
- predominantly quiet - neighbors keep to themselves, but are kind - pets allowed - cat colony keeps the rodents away - huge apartments
Cons:
- shared courtyard; next door building blasts music on sundays - security very lax - packages occasionally stolen (better since new super hired in 2023)
Advice to owner:
get security system at the first front door like the next door building; have a clause about not blasting music as well as quiet hours

Great super, responsive management, problem with pests, smells, theft

Pros:
1. Super and his team are fantastic (thank you!!!) 2. Management responds very quickly 3. Some units have been remodeled very nicely 4. Neighbors help out with bringing mail to the door
Cons:
1. Have had multiple issues with roaches and rats 2. Pest management isn’t consistent - sometimes they don’t show up despite saying they will 3. Have had multiple package theft incidences 4. Sometimes neighbors will jam the door open so they can get in easily but it compromises safety of the building 5. The elevator has a strong Pee stench sometimes. We can’t tell if it’s someone’s dog or human Pee but super is always trying to clean it
Advice to owner:
Pls clean the building more thoroughly and work on the elevator stench. Security of the building needs to be sorted by not allowing people to keep the front door ajar. Pest management needs SERIOUS improvement.

Large units, bad management

Pros:
Located close to transit, prospect park, botanic garden, museums, and the Brooklyn Public Library. Super is very nice and responsive.Elevator building.
Cons:
Dirty, cockroaches in the apartments, management company is faceless and NEVER email or call you back. Showers back up often. Water temperature oscillates between freezing and burning hot. His everywhere for pests to get into.
Advice to owner:
Care about your residents, respond to calls and emails. Update your boiler. Do regular pest maintenance.
