No. Unless you like very loud disco music, reoccurring leaks, and pests.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great sunlight. Nothing else really.
Cons:
Overwhelmed, too much to type but will. Had mice, roaches, fruit flies, and ants. The building and the apartment had a slant to it where everything was a bit off balance. The stairs to get to higher floors was slanted as well and looked like it would soon cave in. We weren’t provided with our own mail boxes but instead he gave out our mail, which I didn’t feel comfortable with as he would comment on what was being sent. He would blast his music loud enough to shake the whole apartment and these speakers were meant for outdoor concerts so you know it was loud. He would turn off the music if asked but over all the music was played at inappropriate levels randomly during the day. He would try to repair leaks within the apartment but afterwards white dust would appear everywhere within the apartment meaning be wasn’t careful while repairing. Often times the repairs would need to be repaired again within the next few months. So much more but if I get specific I will no longer remain anonymous.
Advice to owner:
Change his attitude and the way he talks to people he encounters. Hire people to fix up the apartment instead of doing the repairs himself. Maybe not be a landlord if he doesn’t get along with people and hire someone as a middle person to deal with tenants.
