It a good building overall
Former Tenant
Pros:
New building, elevator, shut for trash, gym, laundry, parking.
Cons:
I don't think they clean the floors often (aside from the lobby). And I don't think the gym is ever cleaned, the floor is a bit disgusting and you can feel your hands dirty after working out. The laundry room is almost always full, and they have a washer and a dryer with a big X in red tape that apparently only the super can use. That room closes on mondays for 'cleaning' but it just doesn't seem clean after that....

From Sweet to Sour
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is clean (inside and outside). Thanks to the live-in super. Any maintenance issues were fixed in a timely manner.
Cons:
The COVID Rent Deal was extremely predatory. I was told before signing the lease that renewal around the same rate would be an issue. Well, it was! They increased my rent by $800/month. They drew a hard line in the sand everytime I tried to negotiate. And I was in excellent standing. No complaints. No late payments. When I moved in, there was so much unfinished about the building. Light fixtures, shelves, doors, holes in the drywall, etc. Seems like the builder left without final inspection. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the rooftop they advertised is completely unfurnished. The game room and movie room was unfinished as well.

Getting better
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment building looks nice and is well maintained. The building has good amenities but while I was there they weren't all available because they were still under construction.
Cons:
Our apartment was cold in the winter and the construction quality of the apartment was not the best on close inspection (lots of cut corners)
Advice to owner:
Get the building’s amenities all built before you let people move in

Don't do it
Former Tenant
Pros:
It's new so you might get a place no one has lived in
Cons:
The apartments are falling apart despite being brand new, there's film on the windows they haven't removed, our apartment came damaged and with someone's toilet paper and shoes in the kitchen, the rent is way too high for the quality, the laundry is barely usable due to the fact that there are 4 washers and 3 driers for the whole building, the elevators are often out, packages get stolen, the walls are paper thin and dent if you look at them wrong, the lights constantly go out because the leave them on in the vacant apartments so the electricity bill is insane, I could keep going but the bottom line is don't live here
Advice to owner:
Fix the building, cut the rent in half and then maybe people would live here

Do not rent here
Former Tenant
Pros:
New construction. Great super.
Cons:
Cheaply constructed, only 4 washers and 3 dryers for 81 units. Unsafe neighborhood, has men follow me twice from the train station. Overpriced. Noisy location. Poor heating system. #2G above garage, bedroom shakes when the door opens and closes.
Advice to owner:
Drop the rent.
