Very Eh, Just Fine
Former Tenant
Pros:
Prompt response from management when plumbing issues arose.
Gave rapid verbal approval for a pet mid-lease.
Cons:
Apartment walls were not freshly painted or repaired upon move in.
Management company very strict and inflexible with subletters.
Management company threatened to hold security deposit if subletters were used (an illegal move according to an attorney).
No flexibility around partial and/or late rent due to pandemic.
Did not fix a shattered glass front door for many weeks.
Don’t work with tenants create a system to mitigate package theft.
Advice to owner:
If you treat your tenants as partners who are trustworthy and are friendly to them, you will go further. I would not recommend this property to others, and not because it’s the worst, but because it’s very average and there are many better options.

Overall nice building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry onsite, well kept building, central heat and A/C, rooftop access with great views.
Cons:
I can’t speak for other units, but the bedroom I was in was really tiny (even for nyc standards) and had no closet. I knew what I was signing up for, so it’s not a major complaint. Some of the recent renovations were pretty cheap quality, so they look nice but started to fall apart just a tad.
Some tenants didn’t respect the rooftop space and trashed it a couple of times.
Advice to owner:
