Former Tenant
Pros:
The location was close to the train.
Cons:
This building had essentially 0 maintenance in years. We moved after our ceiling caved in suddenly and could have killed us. The owner took 3 week to fix it and we had to live in a small bedroom in the meantime. He then expected us to empty the entire room with no space to put our belongings. We lost so much $ in damage and instead of an apology he said he hoped we had insurance and offered no rent concession. The apartment also had severe heater issues and sinking windows as well as huge cracks in the walls probably from building shifting. The owner seems to only care about doing trash for hours a day while spying on his tenants. The neighborhood went downhill so much in the past few years that all decent businesses closed and crackheads are everywhere. We had a shooting right outside. Also people stealing packages right off the stairs when they had been there 10 minutes. Oh and the owner has plug in doorbells and no video security outside. The doorbells never work so you never even know when thing s are delivered. Just run from this terrible landlord and mess of a building.
