Great building, very consistent over 4 years
Pros
I moved here direct from Seattle and wasn't used to the NY style of "an elevator and central air are amenities, not requirements" so this building came as a unexpected blessing. For all the waterfront luxury buildings that now run along Kent Ave, this one has character - the finishings in the units, the vibe of the doormen/lobbymen/handymen, and the amenities all feel unique to it. Plus Domino park and the waterfront are right there, immaculate. Left because my condo owner sold the unit I was in, but otherwise would've stayed.
Cons
The neighbors are very family oriented, which is naturally a plus if you're in that stage of life but being single and <30 here felt a bit isolated. There was a resident that managed to get a wine bar downstairs in the cafe evicted after 3 months of operating - most of the building's residents loved that place, but the loudest voice was able to make the building owner/operator cave. Plus almost a 15 min walk from the L, so it certainly feels like the immediate neighborhood is a bubble. Dogs and babies take up a good bit of the morning sounds occasionally, not a serious issue though.
Great building !

Cons
Noisy outside. Loiterers
