Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenants at 339 Bedford Avenue praise the prime location, quiet despite proximity to busy streets, and some aspects like a nice lobby and building cleanliness in certain units. However, persistent pest problems, particularly rodents, cause significant distress, compounded by slow, unresponsive management and maintenance delays. Garbage management and building navigation pose challenges, and fluctuating water pressure and heating performance add to concerns. While some appreciate the safety and neighborhood vibe, frequent plumbing issues and communication gaps with management detract from living experience. Overall, renters urge improved maintenance responsiveness and pest control to enhance tenant satisfaction.

Disappointing year in this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, nice lobby, no noise issues despite being on busy street. The gentleman who came to do repairs was lovely.
Cons:
I hated living here. There was a pest issue the entire time I lived here which was extremely distressing and affected my quality of life. The management was not responsive nor concerned. Even after routine exterminator visits, it persisted. There was a portal to submit mgmt requests, but they were not responded to in a timely way and I would have to call the office repeatedly. Multiple leaks resulted in my cabinets being replaced 2x in a year. I couldn't wait to move out.

Overall positive experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Extremely clean building- very safe- and in a great neighborhood. Would recommend.
Cons:
Walk-up building isn't always the easiest to navigate, garbage room outside and underneath the building, difficult co-op board politics.
