Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 213 Union Avenue in Brooklyn highlight mixed experiences. Tenants appreciate the building's spacious units and good location near transit and amenities. However, concerns include persistent pest problems, noise from neighboring businesses like a car wash, and slow maintenance responses. Some renters have faced challenges with unaddressed issues like roach infestations and inconsistent heating. While some residents find the neighbors friendly, overall, the building management's lack of prompt action and communication regarding maintenance requests and pest control diminishes the living experience.

Not a good experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lots of sunlight
Cons:
Very nosy from the train and car traffic from the bridge exit. No matter how many times we exterminated the roach issue would not go away. Not a building issue but the city did waterline repair for months while we lived there - no running water during the working hours for days.

Pros:
Apartment is cute and has great lighting, good location.
Cons:
We had a mice problem for 8 months and any time we brought it up, someone would just give us glue traps and poison. Spent a lot of our own money on an exterminator to fix the problem. Heat is very inconsistent, mold in apartments, serious problem with packages being stolen. Don’t recommend.
