decent living experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
great roof access, building always heated in the winter, smoke detectors definitely worked, exterminator did come regularly which i think helped for a lack of insects but mice remained a problem
Cons:
there was a pretty serious rodent problem in my bedroom (not even the kitchen) during the peak years of the pandemic that was never really addressed
Advice to owner:
bulk up extermination efforts

You get what you pay for. It’s bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful balconies and roof, chill neighbors, great location, cheap rent & rent controlled
Cons:
Water damage in hallways and rooms (confirmed by other neighbors as well), apartment is dusty with poor air flow (because of how the windows are located on one side of the building, even having them all open does not help airflow), landlord ignored, denied, and covered up MOLD PRESENCE (Confirmed by a professional air quality test) which made us SICK, making some of the rooms effectively impossible to live in due to constant water damage/mold.
Advice to owner:
Don’t lease out unlivable properties.
