Loud and disruptive building with not very responsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The units are nice and Maintence person is responsive for issues in the building
Cons:
The building is very loud and disruptive. It is difficult to get any rest and when this is brought to the landlord or management companies attention it was not addressed and disregarded.
Advice to owner:
Please ensure that residents respect other residents

radiators should not explode
Former Tenant
Pros:
big bathroom with tub
Cons:
We had roaches in the kitchen, but the worst of it was the exploding radiators. When we twisted the knob to "closed" they made a horrific clanging noise and kept us up all night. But when we twisted the knob to "open" the radiators shot out boiling, rusty (?) brown water, ruining our belongings (beds etc) and almost injuring my roommate's dog. Management did absolutely nothing, and we moved out without the problem ever having been addressed.
Advice to owner:
radiators shouldn't explode on your tenants.

Huge Roaches, bedbugs
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice neighbors, beautiful interior of the apartment units
Cons:
The apartment had a roach infestation. They. were. Everywhere. Enormous ones. Crawling over my bed at night. I reported it so many times to the landlord and super. Each time a guy with a spray would come and spray toxic chemicals all over my stuff, never filled in or treated the gaping holes in the molding in the walls that they were coming out from. It was clear that the landlord was pushing tenants through to increase the rent, an old electric bill from a previous tenant showed they only lasted 2 months there. I lasted 1.5 months and then fled because it was also utterly infested with bedbugs. It was absolute hell.
Advice to owner:
Sell your building to someone less money-mongering and more humane who will clean it up.
