they're doing their best...
Pros
location is 5min walk to main subway and bus. recent kitchen and hallway renovations.
Cons
the common areas have a layer of dust. the renovations are with stock, low quality materials.
Advice to the owners
invest in a system to submit work orders. using text is unprofessional. even just a form to fill out.
Worst Experience Ever
Pros
There were no pros, because ultimately everything broke.
Cons
LC Management never responded to any maintenance issues & does not return security deposits. There are way more than 28 open violations in this building when you look into the apartments themselves. There are multiple active health hazards. Landlord even allowed construction company to disable fire alarms and burn wood in the building when remodeling. In my time there: I had black mold growing in my bathroom, my radiator re-cracked and sprayed water all over my room when I was out of town (which resulted in mold and the loss of $1000 worth of my stuff, landlord did not reimburse me), pipes broke in our ceiling both upstairs and down, our shower head broke, the light in our bathroom never worked we always had to use a flashlight (even though it was replaced 3 times), our basement flooded twice with sewage, I had sewage water running down the wall in my room for 5 whole days, our fridge and dishwasher both broke (only one was replaced). What LC Management is doing is grossly illegal and they should be taken to court.
Advice to the owners
Have some empathy for people, and have the decency to respond. I was ghosted by my landlord for 2 whole years. Also I was never returned my security deposit.
