Arden House review
Former Tenant
Pros:
Has doorman at night. Spacious. Great light from outside. Quiet street. Neighbors are very nice
Cons:
BUGS(lots of them). Thin walls. People can be loud sometimes maybe it’s because of the thin walls though.
Advice to owner:
Have pest control come in way more frequently.

Don’t live on the first floor
Former Tenant
Pros:
secure lobby, friendly neighbors, the superintendent is very kind and attentive
Cons:
Living on the first floor there is lots of noise, you can hear people talking outside your window as late as 3am. It’s an old building with a major roach problem.
Advice to owner:
Every unit on the first floor probably needs to be properly fumigated in order for the issue to be resolved

20+ years and getting better all the time
Former Tenant
Pros:
Respectful neighbors, working laundry room, security, security cams, bright new lobby, decent super, great block, close to subway, parks, supermarkets, very diverse, large living rooms and bedrooms, clean, nice courtyard.
Cons:
Water issues, seasonal bug issue, mice, elevators can go out for a long period of time, would like to pay rent online. very thin walls.
Advice to owner:
Loving all the changes lately and I hope they continue.

Has a lot of charm but also roaches
Former Tenant
Pros:
Most neighbors are very friendly Parking garage Elevator Many closets Big bright windows Laundry machines use an app
Cons:
So.many.roaches. and if you don’t run downstairs as soon as your packages arrive there’s a 50/50 chance you will actually get it.
Advice to owner:
Get a package cage or a camera buzzer system. And get the exterminator in here on a regular basis. Also, you should let the tenants know when there are going to be repair people on the roof. We’ve had break-ins and it’s super stressful to see someone outside my window and not know whether they are supposed to be there or not!
