Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 400 Rugby Road in Brooklyn highlight mixed experiences. While some tenants appreciate the spacious units and convenient location, others express dissatisfaction with unresponsive management, pest issues, and subpar maintenance. Positive aspects include good neighbors, a private backyard, and decent water pressure. However, concerns about garbage management, noise levels, and insufficient amenities are prevalent. Recommendations emphasize the need for improved owner responsiveness and overall building upkeep. Despite its drawbacks, the building's family-friendly atmosphere and proximity to amenities make it a decent option for some renters.

Broken pipes, broken hear
Former Tenant
Pros:
The other tenants were nice people
Cons:
Upstairs neighbor's toilet outlet pipe burst one morning, flooding our bathroom with their sewage. Management was extremely slow to respond, and the super did a really subpar job of remediating the sewage floor. Our bathroom ceiling was fully saturated with sewage and they would not replace it. Took 3 days to hunt down the owner of the building so we could break our lease. Outside of the sewage incident, the building had a bad roach problem and garbage was constantly piled up in the courtyard.
