Broken pipes, broken hear
Former Tenant
Pros:
The other tenants were nice people
Cons:
Upstairs neighbor's toilet outlet pipe burst one morning, flooding our bathroom with their sewage. Management was extremely slow to respond, and the super did a really subpar job of remediating the sewage floor. Our bathroom ceiling was fully saturated with sewage and they would not replace it. Took 3 days to hunt down the owner of the building so we could break our lease. Outside of the sewage incident, the building had a bad roach problem and garbage was constantly piled up in the courtyard.

Management is unresponsive and does not adequately fix issues.
Former Tenant
Pros:
The size of the units are very spacious and it’s located on a relatively quiet block (for apt buildings). It’s a 3 minute walk to the Cortelyou Q station and 15 minutes to Prospect Park. One of the few dog friendly buildings in the area.
Cons:
The landlord is extremely unresponsive for any issue. We have had issues with leaks in the same spot for years, the repairs have only put a cosmetic bandage and has started to leak again. This has happened with other fixes (soap dish in shower breaking - slicing my knee open and needing stitches, cabinetry repeatedly breaking in same area. Our dishwasher has repeatedly broke in the same place and instead of replacing they put a temporary fix. Good luck getting the current super to actually come by, despite setting up specific times, he rarely shows up when requested which is very frustrating when we would have to take off work. There are consistently issues with roaches in the building and not properly addressed. There have been bed bug infestations in units and common areas (laundry room) and tenants were never notified. No one from triton reality responds to emails regarding unit issues or billing issues. It takes many attempts and we rarely receive a response. No ones answers the office number.
Advice to owner:
Please respond to tenants concerns.
