No heat ? Torture

Pros:
Location in Bay Ridge
Cons:
For the past 14 years the building has bouts of NO HEAT for multiple days. This happens every week . If there is heat it is on for 5-10 minutes and cannot make a dent to warm. Every fall and winter the Tenants have to suffer, call the owner which does nothing , and wear multiple layers of clothing. Owner is combative and doesn’t address the problems. Countless complaints to the housing authority. Many times days with no hot water. Building foyer and steps and landings are filthy. Garbage out front is not kept up on a consistent basis.
Advice to owner:
Sell the place ?

Pros:
The people here are nice and it’s pet friendly
Cons:
She hasn’t cleaned in over two years. WHAT COVID??! She also lets the oil run out A LOT and leaves us without heat or hot water in THE winter.
Advice to owner:
Get it together. CLEAN/ DISINFECT and paint the hallway. Stop being SO cheap. We pay our rent on time every month. The least you can do is keep it clean and warm! Pay your bills because you rather do your hair and buy a new car instead of maintaining the building.
