It’s okay I guess
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super is the best, they fix everything pretty fast.
Cons:
The landlord tried to raise rent every 6 months. The landlord is very money hungry and tries to scam me for money stating they have less money in deposit than I gave them. Neighbors from upstairs are very noisy. Ceiling is paper thin. Old building, everything breaks fast.
Advice to owner:
Stop being a geeedy asshole

Pretty much satisfied
Former Tenant
Pros:
I moved here a week ago. I would say I am in love in my apartment, it’s very specious, ceilings are very high, lots of windows, 3 closets, apt is very nicely renovated AND it’s rent stabilized! The super is very nice and attentive. Pretty close to the subway. No noisy bars or noisy neighbors around which makes me happy.
Cons:
My apartment faces a very busy road, so it can get a little noisy. I have spotted 3 roaches so far, but I wouldn’t expect anything else from a 100 years old building. The electricity wires are pretty weak and I cannot use two aces at the same time, thanks god it’s getting colder. The management is pretty rude. It can get a little dirty around the building/ in the lobby because some people are litterbugs. Soundproofing is not the best, I can hear my neighbors footsteps, but I don’t hear other residents on my floor, which is cool. In case you are sensitive to the footsteps above I would recommend you to move to the 6th floor. No laundry in the building, the next laundromat is about 15 minutes away..
