Overpriced and Abysmal Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The units are (mostly) very spacious and have high ceilings. It's nearby a lot of nightlife too if that's what you're into (although if it's not, it will probably be a LOT for you).
Cons:
- Management ghosts tenant complaints. When they do finally come to fix things, they often to a shoddy repair job and leave your space dirty.
- Many units did not have heating for the first couple months of winter.
- Pests. While I did not have an issue beyond what is normal for Brooklyn (several mice over a few years time as well as a few roaches per year), I had neighbors who had very large rats enter their apartments.
- Construction workers leave the hallways dirty and filled with dust from their work. Definitely not safe for the air quality.
- Shower was not properly constructed so that water can drain. Thus, mold growth is impossible to avoid.
Advice to owner:
Maybe charge like half of the rent that you do, and even then I'm not sure if it's worth living here.
