Do not sublet from awful German woman
Pros
Really cool space, great people, somewhat affordable
Cons
When I sublet a room in a loft here, the German woman who was renting the place out to me and the other roommates, was utterly awful. Just to give some examples, she started messaging me asking me how many bottles one roommate had in the recycling bin--she wanted me to spy on his drinking habits and report back. Beyond that, she started harassing another flatmate who had booked her room on Airbnb and that got so bad that all of the funds she had spent were refunded and this unit was removed from Airbnb. As for me, she demanded I move out early because she wanted to move back in--I think it was at least a month till my sublease agreement was up--and because at that point she had started dropping in, despite not living there, to "make sure no one was damaging the furniture," I decided to negotiate an early move out--I asked her to pay for a moving truck. I rushed to move out and then got a 75$ fee because she cancelled the check on me. I have had a lot of interesting experiences with renting but this woman was the most hateful of any person I have rented from. I really hope that she is no longer associated with the apartment.
Advice to the owners
If this woman is still renting and subletting out units, please stop.

Pros
Huge, great lighting
Cons
ultra expensive, you pay for your own gas which in a space that size can add another $500 for heating
