Ok for the most part

Pros:
Quiet, location, elevator (on the slow side, and often breaks)
LOTS AND LOTS OF COCKROACHES. Had a huge pest problem and Victor barely helped. One day, we had tons of roaches come out at once from the boiler room. Had to be in front of the door killing them non stop because they were all coming out. Victor offered to send someone in a couple of days. But we needed help RIGHT THEN because it was NON-STOP. Ended up getting someone that came an hour later and Victor didnt refund us.
Also, left the apartment in perfect condition and still found an excuse to not give us back our deposit. Horrible landlord.
Thin walls, you can hear the door of the lobby and ring of the elevator all the time.

Good building with some maintenance quirks

Pros:
Elevator building, with balconies. Adequantly maintained.
Cons:
As good as the neighbors. An occasional unwelcome visit from cockroaches. (maybe twice a year)
Advice to owner:
More regular clean up

Terrible Management in an otherwise average building

Pros:
Elevator worked fairly consistently. Trash are was usually pretty well organized.
Cons:
Bugs were a constant problem. The manager Victor might be the worst human in New York. Walls are thin.
Advice to owner:
Actually take care of the bug problem? Don't treat residents with open hostility?

Owner is shady with a criminal record and did not return security deposit despite apartment being left in perfect condition

Nice apartment terrible management

Pros:
Large apartment, great location, with balconies, can manage own heat, street facing gets great light.
Cons:
The “super” does not actually live at or near the property and is very difficult to deal with, has entered apartments without permission, and is just shifty in general. Is a relative of the owner who you’ll never have contact with.
Love the apartment, not the management.
Advice to owner:
Get a real super for the building’

Clean hallways every week, and great washer/dryer room. Great location.
Cons:
Lots of cockroaches on the first floor.
