Alma is terrible

Pros

Neighbors are great. Apartments are beautiful, with big windows. Soundproofing between units is good. Enis does an astoundingly good job.

Cons

Management is terrible, nonresponsive. They bring tenants who pay rent on time every month to housing court because management can't do math. Ongoing issues with vermin and lack of hot water that go unadressed.

Rent stabilized Unusual layouts, every unit is different Friendly building staff Good community of neighbors

Cons

Serially connected heat. If you get a crazy hot apartment, you can't adjust the baseboards because your neighbors will lose their heat. Management/staff can be slow to respond, unequal in how they treat tenants Building is old and a little crusty, air quality issues
