Pros
The building is fairly new and well-maintained. Centralized AC and strong water pressure. Spacious apartments with plenty of closet space. In-building washer and dryer, package room, fitness center, dog-washing room, storage space, and parking. The super, Dwayne, is amazing—always available and very helpful.
Cons
The rooftop terrace, which was once a great amenity, has been destroyed and has never been repaired. Persistent mouse issue for over a year. While management has sent disinfestation services whenever requested, the problem was never resolved. Tenants are not allowed to hire outside pest control without building approval. The building used to be rent-stabilized, but units are now going out of rent stabilization—contrary to what is written on StreetEasy. This means rents can spike significantly whenever tenants change.
Advice to the owners
Invest in restoring the rooftop terrace and implementing a more effective, building-wide pest control plan
