Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 491 Keap Street emphasize the building's excellent location, natural light, and overall clean environment. Tenants appreciate the on-site maintenance staff and responsive service in some cases. However, management is frequently described as unresponsive, rude, and dishonest, with repeated issues such as unreliable hot water, malfunctioning door handles, frequent elevator breakdowns, and confusing amenities access. Noise and garbage management are concerns, with some describing the neighborhood as loud and congested. The key fob system poses challenges due to slow responses and lockouts. Despite these drawbacks, some renters find the building affordable and recommend it, valuing its convenience and basic upkeep.

Avoid at all costs
Former Tenant
Pros:
great view and close to the subway
Cons:
management is horrible. If something goes wrong, don’t expect anyone to help. The key fob situation is a joke too, I’ve been locked out multiple times without notice, waiting hours to get someone to reactivate the key so I can enter my unit
