Cons:

VERY tired of noise and rude neighbors
Former Tenant
Pros:
Don't move here... The maintenance staff are fine. The neighborhood/area is quiet mostly... until it isnt with parties on nearby or this building's rooftop and no one sleeps. Has a mailroom and laundry room (but machines broken all the time).... New building, but expensive.
Cons:
Management doesn't care, they just want your money... Drugs sold and used outside building and on roof - non-residents use drugs on roof. Dogs pee and poop on roof including in children play area and management does nothing to stop it. People tossed rocks off roof onto the cars and people's balconies and back areas. Management didnt even send an email about it despite being informed of the incident. Unit is not a 2 bedroom apartment, do not let them rent it to you as such - the rent should be lowered accordingly because one of the "bedrooms" is against the neighboring apartment's livingrooms and you will not sleep if the neighbor has any activities during the evening (or middle of the night, which happens frequently). Contributing to this are two construction issues: 1) the walls between apartments in this building are SUPER thin..... a problem that persists even after a big ordeal where I convinced my landlord to install a second soundproofing layer on my wall, and 2) the floors in this building carry sound between apartments. I can hear people stomping around, it literally shakes my floor (and is like a drum in my ear as I try to sleep), this is particularly bad if they are in heels or nice shoes. So due to thin walls and drum-like floors, when my neighbor does anything, plays (even low level) base after midnight, vaccuums at 7am (yea...), or even normal and not inconsiderate things like coming home late and putting g their stuff away or their kitchen/living room area (sounds of setting objects on counters or plugging something into their wall), i hear it. Basically poor sound construction is a very big issue in this building. Unfortunately my neighbor is very inconsiderate and continues to play music at all hours of the night despite being well informed that sound carries. On top of all this, this is a also just a noisy and poorly managed building... People party on the roof at inconsiderate times and loudness, and they trash up the space including vomit in elevator. This building puts you at the mercy of your neighbors and sadly many neighbors like mine are rude and selfish.
Advice to owner:
Fix the walls... add real soundproofing between apartments. Can hear people sneeze... so when they vacuum, or play music (all of which should be perfectly fine), it is disruptive. I also highly recommend not investing in poorly constructed buildings in the future - you might benefit financially, but I don't care about your wealth... I care about tenant quality of life.

Cons:

They could do better
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments have decent layouts. The amenities are nice and the rooftop is great especially for the price. The super would respond to work tickets pretty quickly and was overall a quality guy. Water pressure was great as well.
Cons:
Being that this is Bushwick, there's no shortage of very young people, Air Bnb renters, criminals and full blown parties that come in and out of this building on a regular basis. This isn't the fault of management, but they're ABSOLUTELY aware of the issues and have done nothing about it for the 4 years I lived in the building. There's been constant theft in the package room from outsiders. The camera catches it, photos are posted by the mailboxes, and that's it. What would solve this? A DOORMAN. This has been suggested, requested, and demanded many times by myself and plenty of other tenants. But this company is too cheap for that. The company posts laughable flyers in the elevators saying "no parties on the roof" I can't even count how many parties I've seen on the roof comprised of one person with an Air Bnb in the building plus 20 guests. Dog shit on the roof. Broken bottles, hammocks, planters, lounge chairs. Vomit in the elevator and in the lobby. Do you think a flyer is gonna prevent that?!
Advice to owner:
You cannot justify renting any units at $3k and above in this building without a doorman. It's a slap in the face to the responsible tenants who follow the rules. The building has become a free for all and is gaining a reputation as such.

9 months of living here.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Responsive super (except on weekends). Nicely renovated. Good amenities. Everything functions properly/have had no issues.
Cons:
Somewhat restrictive about rooftop. Sometimes an off smell in the hall/lobby. Owners are rude and difficult to deal with at times - also slightly irresponsible and show low regard for tenants.
Advice to owner:
Teach people working for your company (state view management - Rachel) how to respond in a professional manner. Clean the common areas more throughly.

Former Tenant
Pros:
Amenity options and Rooftop
Cons:
Cleanliness, thin walls all over the building, they nickel and dime you when you move out. They are trying to charge me $100 for 2 screws.
Advice to owner:
Clean the amenities and roof top floor. The basement cushions and floors need to be cleaned.

Overall great building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Awesome amenities, great location
Cons:
Dirty common spaces (not all of them- but most), landlord uncaring about loss of job during pandemic- didn’t follow laws around late fees etc
Advice to owner:
Clean the common spaces more often, or at least the doors and elevators, especially because of covid.
