Middle of the road
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location near Prospect Park
Cons:
Takes ages to get things fixed. Extremely cheap construction — doors made of plywood and won’t even close shut all the way.

I regret moving in
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to prospect park
Cons:
Things didn’t go well from the moment we moved in. The apartment was not ready for us at all : not painted or cleaned after the previous tenant . We found a lot of trash all over apartment in the cabinets. We realized how loud is the street outside our windows - it’s crazy. Common areas and amenities are not finished , seemed like the owner was in a rush to have people in. Everything in the apartment is falling apart. Just awful . Do not move in here !
Advice to owner:
Invest more money into the property

Great neighbors, great super, lots to be desired
Former Tenant
Pros:
The people who live here are great! The barber downstairs is an angel, the super (Mike) is on top of it and gets things done! New building, no pests.
Cons:
1. The Landlord is completely incompetent and doesn’t work through a management company. Impossible to get a hold of, doesn’t understand city laws or the technology they use for payments. They overcharged us for our free month TWICE and we had to wait for him to mail a check…??? He also arbitrarily held our deposit while waiting to get the entire refrigerator door replaced for a dent the size of a pea. Avoid dealing with him. 2. Such a lost opportunity on common spaces. The roof deck has great views and could be so cool but it has plastic plants and cheap furniture. The “gym” is scary. There’s a huge front area that’s just sad dead space. Waste. 3. They did a crap job setting the units up. A bunch of our light switches didn’t do anything, the Verizon guy said they didn’t wire it properly, the washer backed up with water. 4. Caton Ave is SO LOUD. It’s a truck thoroughfare so semis drive by all day, intersection is really dangerous. The back street can be really loud on weekend with parties too. 5. Overpriced for the area. Lots of new places opening up for less.
Advice to owner:
Upgrade the roof deck/front area. Read NYC housing law. Get a manager.

Good spot overall
Former Tenant
Pros:
Units are new, everything works, there is parking, storage and a bike room, super is really nice and responsive
Cons:
Our apartment faces Caton and is really loud because of all the trucks driving by
Advice to owner:
Plant some trees on the sidewalk

beautiful inside, poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
- kitchen, big fridge, underground parking, close to B/Q lines.
Cons:
- mail room gets stolen/opened (not locked). garbage chute has been broken for over a year. poor management - not experienced, ignore requests, say they'll do things but don't. Questions asked during portal are not answered. No email system to alert residents to building issues. heat during the winter is INSANELY expensive >$300 monthly if you're not careful. - overall subpar construction - storage unit area downstairs is musky and damp - would not use.
Advice to owner:
Improve communication with your residents through the Portal. Fix garbage chute. Lock the mailroom and give everyone a code to it.
