Incompetent management and workers
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good view and nice neighbors.
Cons:
• Poor water pressure, owners didn't bother pursuing a fix. • HVAC (heat), without fail, stops turning on during a snowstorm even after constant resetting. After the storm passes then it works. • Hot water takes 10 minutes or so to reach our unit every time we need to shower. • Will have no hot water for 2 weeks and was told by management to just deal with the cold water or "go on a vacation" at my own expense. • Poor investigation on the neighbor-below's water leaking issue, jumped to blame us for overflowing the tub. Leaking still apparently happened even when we were not at home or used the tub. • Mosquitoes are very common, grasshoppers too (plant-owners beware). • Intercom is not user-friendly at all, most deliveries have no clue how to use it, resulting in you having to go down and pick your food up. • Management required COVID-19 vaccine records to use the gym, which I sent. I got 0 responses for despite followups. Had to get the super to give me access bypassing management. • Very frequent revving of cars in this street.
Advice to owner:
Be useful and provide appropriate solutions. Stop being incompetent and being penny pinchers. 2 weeks without hot water is insane.
