Mushrooms Grew through the Floor!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice finishes and cool back patio. Friendly neighbors.
Cons:
Stolen Packages, unresponsive management. Significant mushroom issue growing through floorboards of basement units (mine and neighbor's), likely due to bad waterproofing.

Worst apartment ever
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Laundry in building (though there were about 3 washers and 2 dryers that were functional for the whole building so laundry still sucked to do) - Lots to do in the area
Cons:
- Roach infestation - Packages being stolen ALL THE TIME. I mean it. It'd be stolen within the couple minutes you get the notification to the moment you get to the lobby. When we reported to management, they redirected us to start paying for the locker service in the lobby - It's a fun area, but it's also rough at times. The night before we moved out, we stepped into the elevator with the floor covered in blood. It trailed outside by the street. Brutal. And they still had the audacity to hike up our roach infested apartment up $500.

Nice building, Nice people, Terrible Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building itself is nice, the area is decent, and the people are great
Cons:
Management is lazy, packages have been stolen multiple times, issues take weeks and multiple emails to get fixed. There is a bug problem.
Advice to owner:
Put in some effort

Cockroach Infested Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The units are unique and charming. Location is great, close to subway.
Cons:
The building is infested with cockroaches! They're everywhere. The trash chutes are never cleaned and smell bad. The area is extremely noisy from street traffic, nearby bars and the gas station.
Advice to owner:
Deal with the cockroach issue!

No security
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building itself looks nice from the outside. View from the rooftop
Cons:
Packages get stolen ALL the time. The door Intercom service doesn't work properly or doesn't work at all. The apartment management doesn't respond to your inquiries or emails
Advice to owner:
START WORKING ALREADY!

Not horrible but be prepared for roaches
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cool rooftop and close to the subway. Regarding the apts, kitchen appliances are up to date and because the building was renovated not too long ago units feel modern and have good and functional A/C and heat.
Cons:
My cons list is much longer than my pros. Cockroaches, cockroaches, cockroaches, totally unresponsive management company, 50/50 shot that the maintenance company actually responds to your request, hallway fire alarms that go off constantly, shower head that always drips causing mold in the shower, stolen packages to the point you can’t have anything delivered to the building, and dryers that are consistently broken. But truly the worst part has been the cockroaches, which infest our kitchen and despite best efforts to eradicate them (with no help from the management or maintenance companies) we still see them every time we open our dishwasher or even go to toss trash down the shoot.
Advice to owner:
RESPOND TO EMAILS!! Like truly the only time you can get these people to respond is if your email pertains to rent, otherwise they could care less about your problems or concerns.

home to ROACHES
Former Tenant
Pros:
close to subway, large bedrooms
Cons:
cockroaches are everywhere (they have treated the place Twice in one month + we have traps out, yet we see and kill up to 10 daily) . broken dryer. cigarette smoking neighbours indoors. loud neighbours. non responsive management. loud gas station with cars playing music all night. and again. ROACHES EVERYWHERE.
Advice to owner:
EXTERMINATE YOUR ROACHES. for good. respond to your tenants. fix their concerns. rent is too high for the place to be this disgusting and run down.

618 Bushwick Ave
Former Tenant
Pros:
The exterior is beautiful but it is hardly a “luxury” building inside.
Cons:
The building management literally does not care. They don’t respond to emails and they have no contact number to call them at. The front door is consistently left open and broken into, which has led to nonstop package theft. We received an email that asked us to essentially police and profile anyone we let in. Uh no thanks. That’s not my job as a tenant. There was a stabbing incident where blood was left all over the hallway and it took over 24 hours for someone to address it and clean it up. The security cameras are often unplugged/broken. Front door buzzer is also often broken and unplugged. Laundry machine on certain floors remain broken for months at a time with nobody addressing it.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive. Be more aware of tenants’ requests and do not ask us to be the building’s security guard or door person. Stop gouging all your tenants with high rent prices if all the “luxury” amenities are non-existent, broken or not maintained.

Nice building with good price
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is a perfect walking distance from Myrtle Avenue Station. Overall the building is clean and has a on site garage.
Cons:
There are no super on site so there're incident of package thefts and strangers wandering around the building. The building doors are broken most of the time.
Advice to owner:
Have a super on site

Lots of potential but quite disappointing
Former Tenant
Pros:
The complex is interesting and has decent amenities, including rooftop access and skyline views. The apartments are quiet. Neighbors are nice. Location is great.
Cons:
Despite some recent improvements, cleanliness and maintenance need more attention. The roof is cluttered with random pieces of wood and old furniture that should be removed. The roof is usually littered with excrement, either dog and/or human. There is also a homeless person who is permanently living at the top of a stairwell.
Advice to owner:
Make additional improvements on maintenance and cleaning. Enforce the rules regarding dogs allowed to run free on the roof and use it as a bathroom. Take action regarding the homeless person living on the stairwell.

Cool but noisy
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cool building, great AC/heat, kept pretty clean inside.
Cons:
Noisy, a lot of loud neighbors and loud music all of the time.

Beautiful Building, Awful Property Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful building, clean common spaces, nice rooftop.
Cons:
CCM Property Management is AWFUL. They don’t respond to urgent emails and their phone was disconnected all throughout COVID, so for awhile there was no way to reach them. We loved our apartment, but dealing with CCM was not worth it.
Advice to owner:
Get a new property manager that responds to emails.

Convenient location and amenities
Former Tenant
Pros:
There’s a lovely man that keeps the building clean and trash taken care of. It’s convenient over all-besides packages being stolen.
Cons:
Packages stolen consistently. Loud and rude neighbor that no one seems to deal with. Incredibly loud with methodone clinic near by so a lot of weird activity just outside. Management does nothing about e mail complaints.
Advice to owner:
Visit the building more often and reply to complaints

Pretty good but weird
Former Tenant
Pros:
I loved that apartment so much, such beautiful high ceilings and so quiet/tranquil at all hours (the church side)
Cons:
There was always a bit of weird activity in the building maybe because of the fact that it is an old church and people would seek help there? Idk lol
Advice to owner:
Check on the building more, it felt like no one in charge ever came around
Over 2 years ago
Building is ok, management is horrible
Former Tenant
Pros:
Virtual doorman program, rooftop access, laundry in building
Cons:
Door system was consistently broken, packages were always being stolen and management didn’t do anything
Advice to owner:
Respond to theft!
Pretty but loud and smoky
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quirky building, spacious, brick walls, near many restaurants
Cons:
Unresponsive management (leaks, door security, package theft issues), frequent (1-2x week) loud (after) parties in the tower apartment, neighbors that smoke indoors and the smoke infiltrates surrounding apartments
Advice to owner:
Enforce the lease, get a new, more responsive property manager, soundproof the building
Over 2 years ago
Great amenities so so management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amenities like rooftop, elevator, laundry in building, GoLocker, bike room.
Cons:
Can be loud, neighborhood is sometimes sketchy, management is charging a little more than it’s worth.
Advice to owner:
Lower rent. Be more responsive. Better maintenance.
