Major Roach Infestation
Former Tenant
Pros:
Any positives about the building are eclipsed by the significant roach infestation.
Cons:
Ownership has a serious infestation problem and will not do anything to fix it. We're talking like 20+ roaches a day. Babies roaches, adult roaches. It's disgusting.
Advice to owner:
Fumigate

Horrible Roach Problem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location. Good lighting in apartment.
Cons:
Apt 1C has a terrible roach problem and management did very little to get to the source of the issue. We would see around 15+ roaches a day and ended up moving because of it.
Advice to owner:
Extermination in the apartment is not enough. Get the source of the infestation in the basement.

Old building but maintained ok
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super is responsive and very nice. Maintenance staffs are friendly, too.Management got much better in the past couple of years. Great location. Most of the residents are young professionals who have common sense. Street noise level is different by units.(Rear is quiet)
Cons:
Some of the units are recently renovated but it’s a prewar apartment so the structure of the building is old like other pre war bldgs in NYC. Floors are a little slanted and windows are hard to lift but it might be depending on the unit.

Great Place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet, close to restaurants, I take the train almost everyday, but love being close to 31st ave too.
Cons:
Only service level cons. Common area feels too small for a two bedroom. But doable
Advice to owner:
Nope.
