Slum lord thugs

Pros

Great community and the building itself is wonderful. Was devastated to have been driven out by jh 35

Cons

JH 35 LLC are literal thugs and scammers. I lost my apartment of 4 years because someone in their employ was stealing and cashing my checks I sent in the mail and was not able to afford a lawyer to represent me in court. I tried calling them, and sending them dozens of letters in the mail over the course of 2 years and never once received a response as to whey they were sending me the bills they were only to discover it was the situation explained above. Not only did they claim I was not paying my rent I also lost the money from those months as the checks had been cashed by someone, and while claiming I did not pay they also lied to my bank saying it was them who cashed the checks so I was not able to be refunded. Terrible, awful, neglectful people. They represent everything that is wrong with this city and the world

Useless Management Only Good at taking Your Money

Pros

My one bedroom apartment was actually a good size.

Cons

The surrounding neighborhood is too densely populated, the crime rate is going up, people sit outside the building and do drugs, the door to the building is always broken, neighbors are rude. The management office is absolutely horrendous. They only do things through mail, but they don't actually respond to any of you 'inquiries' when you mail them. They either don't pick up their office phone or if they do, they don't answer any of your questions. There is basically no way to reach them if you need something. They only take your money.
