"Luxury" masked in aging building
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Doorman & mail service - Plenty of laundry machines, never had a problem - Fresh and modern appliances
Cons:
- Water would constantly shut off without warning - Huge roach problems, especially in the summer - Gym is never cleaned, near garbage area aka roaches - Balcony was never used due to pigeons constantly flying in and out of them

Problems from week 1
Former Tenant
Pros:
There are many employees constantly working on the upkeep and cleanliness of common areas. The doormen are friendly and helpful and manage packages safely. Overall on-premise staff are a great perk (if possibly the only perk) of living here. Neighbors are generally quiet and keep to themselves.
Cons:
Management changes hands often and all companies have been inattentive and ineffective. The building is older and it shows in the units, even the renovated ones. We have had ongoing flooding and water damage (which has led to mold and property damage), severe pest issues, and broken appliances that take months to remedy. Elevators are far too few for the size of the building and often break or are monopolized by maintenance staff. Management is disorganized and inefficient in correspondence and turnover for admin seems pretty frequent.
Advice to owner:
Increase efficiency in responding to tenants and decrease outward apathy towards people who pay you tens of thousands of dollars a year

Just Like Living in the Projects and Shady Management Company--Bronstein
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convenient to mass transit and major highways.
Cons:
Elevators always breaking down and super who tries to blame the tenants for the elevator problems. Lack of communication from management when ALL of the elevators are out of service, which happens frequently. New management company Bronstein is unresponsive to tenants phone calls and they try to charge tenants the wrong rent and won't fix it without a major confrontation. Management is moving in people from shelters. No security in the building. Revolving door with maintenance staff who double as doormen.
Advice to owner:
Stop skimping on major repairs and invest in new elevators, and straighten out the staff who work in the rental office.

Very high rent very poor service.
Former Tenant
Pros:
I like the space of the apartment and the layout. I liked my balcony.
Cons:
The area where they kept the garbage is disgusting and dirty. Washing machines are not cleaned enough. It’s a revolving door of different maintenance people all the time. Very high rent but not close to the service that should come with the cost. The elevator service on the northside has been horrific with one being down in long periods of time or too often.
Advice to owner:
Start making sure that when tickets are put in for service that they are followed through and completed. Jobs are left half done or done improperly. Your maintenance people should be able to communicate with your tenants reasonably. The area where all the garbage is piled up is the cause of the rats and roaches crawling outside on that north end of the building. Upgrade the elevators so we stop having so many issues with them.

Advice to owner:

Cons:

Elevator doesn’t work half the time and horrible management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent is affordable. The location is ok.
Cons:
The elevators doesn’t work almost 5 days in a month. The tenant have to use the stairs to go to their home which makes it hard for elders. There is a lot of water leak. Lastly the management is horrible.
Advice to owner:
Bring a team who can manage this building. Please hire people who are responsible and are willing to act if the tenant have any issue. One of the super have a rude attitude like he is working here for free
