Don’t plan on them ever coming to help fix anything.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Private yard for the 1st floor units, 2 bathrooms and ac units in each room.
Cons:
Nothing would ever get fixed. Leaks in almost all rooms from the upstairs neighbors. Lived there 4 years and no one fixed it. Washer and dryer were gross and never cleaned, they also didn’t work well and would often break. The management company is rude and will ignore you. The basement was moldy. The ceiling lights in the kitchen, hallway and basement were installed poorly and would constantly flicker and burn out even with energy saving bulbs. It took someone breaking and stealing bikes in the basement for them to fix the lock on the front door even after I asked them repeatedly to do so. There was a bedbug issue in the 3rd floor that they didn’t tell us about until a year later. We would occasionally find a stray bug in our unit and kill it. Now we know why. They also never treated our place just in case. They’ve twice lost my rent check. The building is rarely cleaned and the basement is filled with trash. Cell service and internet is very poor. You could barely use your phone in the apt unless you were at the front of the building or in the backyard. Oven pilot light would constantly go out while using it in turn releasing gas into the apt. We informed management several times and finally they sent a guy out who did nothing, but broke the oven knob. For the rest of our 4 years in the apt we just had to constantly check to make sure it was still on.
Advice to owner:
Get better management who actually listen to tents and try and fix problems. Have a super on sight. Fix the leaks in the ceiling coming from the apt above. Do something about the mold that is building from constant leaks.
