Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenants at 139-16 34 Road highlight a spacious, well-lit living space in a convenient Queens location near transportation and local amenities. However, persistent issues overshadow these benefits: poor cleanliness and garbage management, significant pest infestations, and ineffective heating control. Package theft and noisy neighbors also detract from the living experience. Management responsiveness is consistently criticized for being slow and unhelpful, with maintenance requests often ignored. Renters emphasize the need for improved upkeep, pest control, and professional, timely management communication to ensure a comfortable living environment. Overall, the building requires major improvements to meet tenants' basic expectations.

Very Unfortunate Issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very nice sized space and sunlight for the price
Cons:
I have issues that I have asked the building supervisor to fix since when I first began my lease 3 years ago. Currently have a hole in my bathroom ceiling and a door falling off the hinges and all I get is a “we’ll order supplies and be back”. Still nothing. Very large roach issue. I’ve asked to have someone come to spray at an alternate time due to having to work, but was ignored. Unfortunate. I really would love to stay because the space is convenient and neighborhood is cute, but I don’t deserve to live in a space like this.
Advice to owner:
PLEASE do better maintenance on your properties. People live here and deserve to live comfortably with the money they pay!

Good location but poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near bus stop, buses go to main street train station. Near post office, queens library, 2 blocks away from Flushing BCD.
Cons:
Cockroach infested building, package being stolen, staircase never cleaned, indifferent/passive aggressive/slow responses from any department of the building management.
