Fine building, bad owners
Pros
It’s a quiet building, with an adorable courtyard in the center. Overall it’s taken care of pretty well for a building as old as it is.
Cons
You can’t contact an actual landlord, and the “building managers” never respond. When they do respond, they are rude and veryyy shady. Also the address on gps shows the building as around the corner so getting your mail/deliveries is always a hassle. The supers are also always watching you and hold different tenants to different standards. They also keep raising the rent significantly, even for the apartments that face the subway.
Advice to the owners
Invest in treating your tenants with respect, and stop raising the rent for apartments that face the subway.
