Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 26-02 4 St, Queens reveal a mixed experience. While apartments are spacious, modern, and well-equipped with in-unit washer/dryers and good water pressure, there are significant concerns with management responsiveness and unfinished building amenities. Many tenants report persistent issues with noise, poor sound insulation, and security vulnerabilities including frequent package theft. Promised facilities like gyms, rooftop decks, and community spaces remain incomplete after years. The neighborhood is described as developing but still sketchy with safety worries. Overall, while units have potential and some good neighbors, the lack of effective management and building completion detracts from the living experience.

Shady Practices by Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The available parking and mini-splits in each unit are nice.
Cons:
Management is impossible to reach for problems until suddenly they decide to respond. Their super is no where to be found and doesn't answer his phone but sure takes up space with his G wagon in the parking lot. They promise all new tenants amenities that will NEVER be built. No community room, gym, bike storage etc have been completed in over 4 years. Management is shady about how they sign leases - they just show up a week after the due date with a physical stack of papers, don't send you a copy, and rumor has it they use this to sue tenants who annoy them. (Check the litigation history.) If you rent here, you'll get paper thin walls with noisy, nasty neighbors that flood the (nonsmoking) building with weed smoke. Leaks from rainwater are a massive problem here, as is energy efficiency. The building received an "F" energy rating and your ConEd bill will reflect that. A single bedroom might be charged as high as $700 in the summer.
Advice to owner:
Grow up and learn to manage a building. You need an ACTUAL property management software and stop accusing tenants of "not paying" when we all know you double deposit our checks.
