Management converted it into Airbnb
Former Tenant
Pros:
After the 2015 building fire the common areas were updated.
Cons:
The management is not easy to work with. We loose hot water and heat constantly, they blame the boiler and “fix” the issue temporarily but it happens very often. Various apartments have been converted into short term rentals and the property managers are aware but don’t stop because they manage the listings; this creates a lot of traffic at odd hours and luggage noise in the lobby and hallways. Some people have been renting these apartments for weekend parties, bringing in a lot of people and making the actual tenants unsafe.
Advice to owner:
Obey the city rules.
