Building is not kept clean!

Pros:
Roaches have been a big problem in this building. During Covid the rats would rummage through our broken garbage cans. It took them months to fix that problem. 311 was called several times before the problem was fixed.
Cons:
Very very low heat in the winters!!!! The windows are all gated from top to bottom not allowing us to insert an AC. Other people steal your packages.
Advice to owner:
The building should be cleaned daily. Several tenants let their kids throw their garbage on the stairwell, smoke weed inside the building and out in front of the stoop not letting other tenants come in.

Central Harlem Charm

Pros:
Centrally located in Harlem. Easy walk to A/C/B/D subway lines at 145th and 2/3 train at 135th. Grocery story less than a block away. Washer/Dryer in unit. Spacious bathroom.
Cons:
Infested with mice. After a month of being there and killing about 25, we were able to find that the hole in the wall under the bathroom sink for the plumbing was where they were entering. We filled it with steel wire and blocked any future entries. Views from bedrooms are of the garbage area outside. Very noisy whenever anyone walks by outside. Lots of fights outside on the street AND in the alley way behind. Neighbors steal packages.
Advice to owner:
Advice tenants of pest control issues.
