GREEDY! Looks great in pictures, but that's about it.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing location, it really has great potential! But that's the only thing going for them...
Cons:
Too many things I didn't like about the building, but my biggest issue is with management.

First, let's start with the building. It has tons of violations—check out HPD! The common areas look like a dump, especially for the price they're charging for the apartments. We had a gas leak that management wasn't transparent about and we had constant issues with heating and plumbing all year. Some units had pest issues. They told us amenities were coming (i.e. gym) and they never did. At some point, we wondered if management went bankrupt because it sure looked and felt like it. The virtual doorman was always broken (btw, some of us didn't even get actual keys to the building). Packages were constantly being stolen. Appliances were new but were ultimately crap—they either leaked or didn't work well.

Just talk to the people that have lived in the building *before* new management took over, they will tell you it really has gotten worse.

Management or people that worked in the main office barely responded and when they did, they would either be unempathetic or just yell at you. Yes, you read that right.

They want your money and they don't care about you. Save yourself the trouble and rent with someone else. Check their reviews under different names (145 Henry Partners LLC, 15-19 Wyckoff Partners LLC, Brighton Management—just not to name a few). What a living nightmare.
Advice to owner:
Hire competent people and finish with the construction already, FFS. If you want to charge 5000-10000 for an apartment in this dump, you better fix the common areas, start responding and give us a doorman.

Would not recommend for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
- nice, modern finishes
- cute but quiet neighborhood
- super is friendly, helpful and responsive
Cons:
- apartment was beautiful but cheaply renovated
- consistent issues with all appliances for the first six months of living there
- apartment was consistently between high 50 deg and low 60 deg throughout the winter- when we repeatedly reported to management they expressed zero concern or intention to address in any way
- walls are VERY thin- you can have a conversation between the bedrooms with both doors shut
- rent was increased by over $1.4k at the end of our first lease (we did get a COVID deal but still an excessive increase)
- building is next to a preschool playground so there is a lot of noise from screaming kids in intervals throughout week days
- we quickly learned to take what management said with a grain of salt and that we’d need to often reach our several times to get a response regardless of the issue
Advice to owner:
Remember that tenants are people, not just a paycheck
