Decent for what was offered
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is next to the park and space was large
Cons:
Outdated and always a problem trying to get anything fixed. Washer was broken for months. Then we were kicked out so they can remodel without a chance to renew

50% Rent Increase, for nothing
Former Tenant
Pros:
I like the location
Cons:
The new landlord, Greenbrook Partners and their management company, Freestone Management, are ruthless capitalist pigs and residential raiders. They bought 200buildings in the neighborhood, many of which are in Park Slope, kicked tenants out, did a slapdash reno job and then began charging twice as much. They constricted supply, driving up prices and then held it there, setting a new 'market rent'. First the landlord charged me a 15% rent increase, then charged me a 50% rent increase, and never made a single improvement to the quality of the unit.
