Old, no fuss building

Pros:
Large apartments, quiet neighbors, relatively inexpensive rents
Cons:
Non-responsive landlord, poorly managed garbage which is always overflowing, and bad heating (way too hot, heat stays on until June!), things take a long time to fix (like broken front door)
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to the needs of your tenants and hire a building manager who actually takes pride in the cleanliness of the building

No pros that I can think of
Cons:
Loud super, lack of pest control, unresponsive management requests, doesn’t return security deposits and if they do it’s an argument. They have no proof of any damage and they’ve owned the building less than a year!
Advice to owner:
Get some morals and treat your tenants right. You know what’s right and wrong.
