Nice Building Overall
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great amenities (gym, rooftop, lounge) and staff. Beautiful architecture that blends old and new very well. There are many double-height ceiling apartments, which are really lovely. Any issues were taken care of pretty promptly by the on-site super. I was overall satisfied with their resolutions for issues (e.g., the dryer would not turn on at one point, and I received a brand new dryer within 24 hours).
Cons:
The downsides are that construction clearly cut corners while gutting and rebuilding. There were several leaks in the apartment that were seemingly the result of wider structural issues. Also, the walls are a bit thinner than usual, which means you can often hear your neighbors.
Advice to owner:
Take measures to address any wider issues in construction

Beautiful building with lots of rich students
Former Tenant
Pros:
Wonderful amenities, including nice gym. Fantastic views to east side and Long Island.
Cons:
Lots of rich Columbia students who can be noisy and rude at times.
Advice to owner:
A better mix of people would help create more community.
