4261 Hunter St
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is great, spacious apartment.
Cons:
Hot water sucks, doesn't get past lukewarm and doesn't stay hot. Winters are freezing because the management didn't let us take out the wall AC units because they wanted to keep them as back up in case the HVAC one fails, but the wall units don't even work. Gas/electric bills are extremely high. Paid over $400 some months. Garbage chute never worked.

Good apt, terrible management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The layout of the apartment was great
Cons:
Management often sent repair men into the apartment with getting our permission or notifying us in advance. Things always took weeks and dozens of emails to get fixed. We had huge heating bills even though we set the thermostat at 68 throughout the winter and never touched it. We had constant issues - toilet broke, dryer was broken for 2 months, microwave broke, refrigerator broke, dishwasher broke, heating broke, elevator broke, pipe burst in the walls and they ignored our concerns about it until water was gushing out from under the radiator and flooding the bathroom, the trash shoot was broken for the entirety of the time we lived there. The lock on the front door of the building broke three times. If it happened over the weekend, they would wait until Monday because they didn’t want to pay a locksmith to come sooner. Overall building mgmt was lazy, incompetent and cheap.
Advice to owner:
Treat your residents better, fix things in a timely fashion (and correctly the first time), respect people’s privacy
