The most awful apartment I've ever lived in, with the MOST WRETCHED LANDLORD!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighborhood is great, the neighbors were friendly, and there was outdoor space.
Cons:
This apartment was completely unlivable. If I could have warned every future tenant to not move in there I would have. The landlord is an absolute criminal. We had constant water leaks from above that were unaddressed for days, which then turned into the worst black mold issue imaginable, which went unaddressed for WEEKS. When they finally sent someone out to fix it (after we called the city on them), the problem was so bad they ripped out three entire walls to the studs and then LEFT THEM OPEN (i.e. you could literally walk through our open walls from the hallway of the building) for days to let things dry out. On top of that, the building's maintenance room shared an interior wall with our bedroom (with zero sound insulation), and there was a machine that sounded like an airplane engine that would turn on and off throughout the day and night and was impossible to sleep through. The landlord was completely unresponsive, dismissive, and sexist. And of course after our nightmare of a lease was up, he kept our security deposit. STAY. AWAY.
Advice to owner:
Try to be less of an absolute monster

Looks great but poorly built
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large units and right near train
Cons:
Central Air was broke more than it worked. Building did very little to help. No sense of urgency. Apartment was filthy when we moved in.
