Pros
Nice doormen - All the doormen are kind and love to make real relationships with all the owners and tenants Beautiful views - Can't beat the east river views of the east facing units, city views are also great on the west side of the building. Amenities - Have a small but sufficient gym with a pool for lap swimming and a hot tub that was finally fixed. + Sauna & Steam room are just great to have
Cons
Lobby is new and beautiful, but units tend to be a bit on the older side, depending on the specific unit owner There are 4 elevators but one or two are always broken down and it causes 10+ minute waits to get up or down at times
Advice to the owners
Ensure elevators work and get faster service when one breaks down. Make some stylistic upgrades to the health club and rooftop area
Great Building, Awful Landlord
Pros
The lobby is gorgeous, the units are very nice and spacious, and the common areas on the roof are incredible.
Cons
The building cannot interfere with landlord tenant relationships, giving landlords too much freedom. My landlord was personally dangerous.
