Awful Management Company
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, washer and dryer in unit.
Cons:
Arya management is the worst most incompetent management company I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with.

These apartments are all gut renovated. At first glance they may seem nice, however the quality is extremely poor.

Apartment was not move in ready. We arrived and found holes in the walls where electrical work was done, window was broken and couldn’t lock, shower drain clogged, debris on the bathroom floor.

Paint jobs are sloppy, appliances are cheap (oven doesn’t even have temperature control? Just on or off), storage is an after thought, refrigerator is basically a mini fridge. They advertise nicer units and then show you something different, walls are paper thin, price for what they are giving you is absolutely ridiculous. You are paying for location and the convenience of a washer dryer. Pretty much no other pros.

Pests have been an issue, heat does not always come on when it should. Water pressure isn’t very good, water went out and there was no urgency to fix it. They also don’t really care about mold problems.

We received multiple warning about how our landlord did not pay for gas and how our heat is being turned off. Concerns communicated with management team fall on deaf ears and when they do respond, nothing ever actually happens because they are too incompetent to get anything done in a timely manner. They will also be extremely condescending and rude. Jay Gelb in particular who is the senior property manager is extremely unresponsive and seems to think issues like black mold infestations in a washing machine and holes in the walls are non-urgent.
Advice to owner:
These renovated apartments are garbage. Charging more than $4,000 plus a brokers fee for this is low quality crap is insane.
