Landlord illegally destabilized my apt
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment was a normal NYC rent-stabilized building. It was kinda crumbling but fine. The super at the time was great.
Cons:
I only realized this after moving out, but my apartment should have been rent-stabilized. I looked at my rent history but didn't know how to interpret it correctly. If you rent an apartment from this building, get your rent history from DHCR and look it over. I was probably overcharged significantly by the landlord.
