It's a Good life on Diamond
Former Tenant
Pros:
Newer building, with a "goldilocks" kinda feel. Not too fancy, not too shabby. 4 floors, no elevator. Rent is reasonable.
Cons:
Laundry machine breaks a lot. They took away the old roof decks that I hear people used to love.
Advice to owner:
They got new trash cans this summer, which made the trash situation a lot better. Overall, nothing bad to say!

Rent stabilized
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is rent stabilized.
Cons:
Finding out it was rent stabilized caused a very long lawsuit between landlord and all tenants together, he charged us all market rate when we moved in. We settled, so it doesn’t show up as a litigation in the city records. He made our living conditions very uncomfortable until we all moved out.
Advice to owner:
Don’t try to scam your new tenants with market rate leases.
