OK option if you're fine with a few inconveniences
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is very close to main street, neighbors are nice,
Cons:
Pest control is abysmal. I have heard horror stories of roach infestation. We have some roach infestation as well but we have learnt to manage it. We also found mice a couple of times in the apartment and again, learnt to manage it (sealed off entry points). The new superintendent could be better.
Advice to owner:
Please invest in better pest control

Terrible building management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building neighbors and neighborhood is amazing. Safe area with lots of stores and places to eat.
Cons:
Building super and management are negligent to escalations such as pests issues, apartment maintenance, and upkeep of the building.
Advice to owner:
Get a good exterminator and regular biweekly visits to mitigate pests issues. Additionally, fix apartment issues correctly the first time rather than accruing over 50 violations for negligence. Building managers should be held accountable for poor building management and schedule surprise visits to check in on the building Super.
