Older Building That’s Gotten Better Over the Years
Former Tenant
Pros:
They seem to be more on top of pest control and improvements these days. There are cameras on all the floors so there is some security. Maintenance people are okay though not always there as quickly as you’d like.
Cons:
Sometimes you won’t get hot water, typically at night or on weekends. Door security can be meh sometimes and package theft is a major issue despite cameras being in the lobby. It’s definitely not fancy or refurbished and no elevator.
Advice to owner:
Fix the water issues and kick out trashy, noisy tenants. I’ve heard loud fights sometimes that made me consider calling the cops.

Could be Better
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet & Clean Neighborhood
Cons:
Everybody & Anybody can get in building, therefore all packages stolen, The landlord only supplies apartments with refurbished stoves & Refrigerators, which are constantly breaking down,& at night is when you really see the Big Rats. Apartments do have roaches & mice
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to tenants problems
