Management doesn’t care
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great neighborhood, great tree lined block, love the stoop, shared access to backyard, rooftop, and laundry for the building.
Cons:
I lived there for 7 years. Although I grew close with some of my neighbors and loved the neighborhood there was a lot wrong with the unit and with how management handled it.

It was overpriced, the walls are paper thin, the neighbors were loud and often kept us up all night. We lived on the ground level and had annual flooding issues that management refused to address, including mold. We met with someone from the department of housing who advised us that we were likely being flooded with sewage water and that an inspection could lead to the condemnation of the unit. I don’t know if this is really what was happening or whether the inspector was being dramatic but since we did not want to be forced out of the unit we decided not to have it inspected. However, I hope the building management has taken steps to resolve that issue since we moved out.

Please be advised that the 1st floor basement bedrooms are not legal bedrooms. They will flood at least once a year and technically management cannot list those apartments as 3br apartments because the basements are not fit for dwelling but they will not tell you this unless you scour the fine print on your lease to find it. All the first floor units are 2br units but they are charging you 3br prices for those units. Do not be fooled.
Advice to owner:
Stop the flooding and treat your tenants like human beings instead of a line item on your accounting report

Great Management at Apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was very clean and management was responsive. The rooftop is nice and the location is great. The apartment was renovated and had central air. There were never any problems with a super or with the management.
Cons:
The backyard is not well kept, so even though I wanted to use it, it wasn't a good space for hosting.
Advice to owner:
Everything is great, but I would fix up the backyard a little bit.
