Nice neighborhood, HORRIBLE building
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s a block away from Riverside park and a short walk from Central Park. The area has restaurants and shops (if they survive COVID).
Cons:
The building is a disaster. The basement has been under construction for years (and I don’t mean minor construction! It’s a complete disaster down there!). Building is dirty, almost never cleaned and the super is always in a terrible mood. You’ll never get him to do anything. The walls are thin so you better not have loud neighbors (ours throw parties all the time). And, be ready to smell pot in the elevator and in the hallways every day.
Advice to owner:
Care about your property and about the renters! Ask your super to care!
